Nightwing is seeking an experienced IT profession to fill a critical multifunction role in support of a diverse workforce in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment. The selected candidate will be expected to:

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with Site Leadership, Facilities, Operations and Program Management for demand planning and demand management around their needs for specific service.

Review business requests for service enhancements and undertakes cost evaluation, standard reviews and prioritization.

Provide performance monitoring, oversight of local projects, escalation interface to suppliers and IT leadership for the site.

Monitor internal and external service providers to ensure they are performing to contractual requirements using Nightwing standards and processes; analyzing and acting upon SLA and metrics data to ensure customer service and customer satisfaction.

Guides continuous improvement efforts for the service.

Communicate and drive adoption of IT Technology direction.

Collaborate with service architects to discuss impact of new technologies and architecture roadmap.

Provide onsite unclassified IT support to all users.

Perform end-user desktop support, hardware/software delivery and inventory management.

Provide local support for site IT network infrastructure hardware and A/V conferencing systems.

Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger geographically distributed team with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate strong customer service and focus on timely professional service.

Required Skills:

5 years or more of IT Service Delivery/Infrastructure Operations

Exposure / strong understanding of Site Services

Applicable experience using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.

Proficiency using and supporting Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Products, SharePoint and ability to perform basic network troubleshooting.

AV, Infrastructure and other IT related technical experience.

Experience managing vendors / service providers.

Strong interpersonal, leadership, influence and communication skills

Team player with a collaborative mindset with ability to work with multiple disciplines, driven by quality and customer satisfaction.

Attention to detail, with drive, initiative, and motivation.

US Citizenship

Desired Skills:

Experience working within a multi-tiered IT organization, work order prioritization and escalation.

Experience using a work order management system (Atlassian ServiceDesk/ServiceNow0

Experience using and supporting Linux based Operating System.

Familiarity with network hardware concepts and basic troubleshooting.

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years’ experience in an IT related field. This will be based on the selected grade.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
