The role of the Senior Associate Deal Desk Analyst is to supports the sales and technical delivery team(s), working as the primary point of contact amongst various business areas , and constructing how non-standard deals should work. The Senior Associate Deal Desk Analyst typically makes sure that deals are correctly constructed, supports teams with best pricing to maximize revenue, and addressing the details involved in a non-standard contract process to make certain the deal is completed promptly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the competitive positioning of carrier services

  • For opportunities gather necessary information to define the appropriate solution scope, identify the suitable solution and provide costing to regional sales team

  • Drive pricing negotiation with carrier partners to ensure the most competitive buy prices for NTT Ltd.

  • Participate in the identification of opportunities to improve, orchestrate or automate repetitive tasks, prioritize them and work cross-functionally to create or deploy new processes to increase the level of efficiency across teams.

  • Stay abreast of the global regulatory environment working alongside the NTT compliance team and Carrier Operations Managers as it pertains to impacts on ordering of telecommunications circuits from carrier partners.

Knowledge, skills, and attributes:

  • Applies advanced wide ranging experience and in depth professional knowledge to develop and resolve complex models and procedures in creative ways.

  • Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas.

  • Determines own methods and procedures on new assignments.

  • Understands and works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factors, solutions may need to be devised from limited information.

  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, evaluating, adapting of complex techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • A good understanding of carrier and connectivity markets

  • A good understanding of the vast range of IT operations and NTT service offerings

  • Knowledge and understanding of Managed Networking markets and networking technologies, including market trends and technological advancements

  • Strong relationship management and demonstrated collaborative skills in working with internal and external business stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) coupled with good questioning skills

  • Exhibit growing knowledge and passion for area specialization

  • Good client relationship building and engagement skills

  • Ability to persuade, negotiate and influence key stakeholders

  • A go-getter with the ability to work in high-pressure situations

  • Good conceptual insight and ability to think strategically

  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business

  • Able to work well in teams

  • Ability to manage assigned work processes

  • Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications or Business or equivalent experience in the industry

Experience required:

  • Greater than 6-years work experience

  • Demonstrated experience in an international telecommunication environment

Beneficial experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in solutioning, designing, building, provisioning and operationally managing telecommunications circuits.
