Job Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.The Java Platform Group is looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Full-stack developer. Our team is responsible for delivering the Java platform that is used by millions of developers. We are looking for a seasoned engineer with a thorough understanding of both Java Platform and designing cloud native web services.
We are looking for Full-stack developer with strong technical background, who will design, implement and test our next generation cloud native services for remote management, monitoring and configuring JDKs. The candidate will be working on developing an Oracle Cloud (OCI) native service which will analyse telemetry of running Java applications. You will create software which will improve security and performance of JVMs.
Responsibilities
Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed, cloud native solution
Design and develop new features for Java Management Services inline with the market demands and emerging business
Work with agile development methodology, adhering to best practices established by Oracle and project team and pursuing continued learning opportunities
Skills
4+ experience with architecting, implementing and testing large scale Java applications
Spring Boot/Helidon/Dropwizard Web Services Framework
Experience with Jenkins CI/CD, Git, maven/gradle
Experience working on one or more major cloud vendor (OCI, Azure, AWS, GCP)
Working experience with Oracle or MySQL databases
BS or MS degree relevant to functional area
Nice to have skills
Experience with creating rich UI with JavaScript frameworks
Knowledge of technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Jaeger or Istio is advantage
Career Level - IC3
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
