What you'll do...

The Walmart Tax Department is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Tax Reform to join our Global Tax Operations Team.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

Our Global Tax Operations Team is responsible for U.S. Federal, State and U.S. International income tax compliance and reporting, global consolidations and tax accounting and reporting, modelling income tax impacts, tax forecasting, planning, and analysis, U.S. domestic and state income tax planning, income tax credits, and Global Tax Policy.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a newly created role on the Global Tax Reform team. This role will manage the implementation of global law changes, including the implementation of tax compliance solutions for OECD initiatives (e.g. Pillar 2). The role is part of a multi-disciplinary approach to Global Tax Reform that includes modelling, compliance, planning and policy guidance. This role will have a particular focus of ensuring our structure and new business initiatives are OECD and local country compliant and efficient. The role will also work with the greater tax team to analyze and document tax positions.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

• Possess a strong blend of Tax technical and quantitative analysis knowledge and experience to build efficient and effective positions and structures

• You have 6+ years of experience in income tax planning and compliance and experience working in all tax areas of a U.S. multinational

• You work well with others and can serve a variety of business partners

• You can issue spot and know when to bring in other subject matter experts

• You are intellectually curious

• You possess excellent oral and written communication skills

• You're knowledgeable about U.S. international tax rules

• You can work with new rules and ambiguity to develop analysis and guidance on novel issues

• You can issue spot and provide guidance to executive leadership to facilitate decision-making

• You have a proven track record of developing and training the team to grow in their careers

• You have an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance

• You have an MBA or Master's in Accountancy or Tax or a JD with a Tax LL.M.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and 3 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax

compliance, or related area OR 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area.

1 years' supervisory experience.
