Job Description

Provide support to customers and distribution clerical staff to ensure efficient daily operation of all distribution accounts.

Ability to analyze Customer and Expeditors data in order to fully understand, and display data to show a meaningful story or impact for customer engagement.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

All daily functions of assigned distribution account(s). Including liaising with Customers and warehouse to ensure orders are shipped in accordance with customer's requirements.

Coordinate all aspects of inbound and outbound planning for assigned customers.

Perform invoicing through Warehouse Management System.  Conduct billing, including associated back-up and documentation.

Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely

Perform daily data entry for receiving order allocation, shipping and inventory management

Provide warehouse staff with necessary documents and information needed to complete receiving, and to ship orders

Provide support with other miscellaneous projects, filing and research

Rating of domestic transportation bills

Ability to analyze Customer and Expeditors data in order to fully understand, and display data to show a meaningful story or impact for customer engagement.

Qualifications: 

6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.

Pro-active, strong organizational skills.

Previous experience in inventory control and/or distribution operations preferred

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

Fully proficient with various software applications (i.e. mainframe systems: MS Word, MS Excel)

Displayed ability to work independently with minimal supervision
