About the role

The Visual Merchandiser will ensure the maximum visual impact of our products in-store in line with brand image and guidelines. This role reports to the Brand Director Benelux.

As a Visual Merchandiser your will have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all visual branding and store design of the brand in store throughout the Benelux.

  • Participates in the elaboration of the merchandising plans, in accordance with the global marketing strategy. He/she is in charge of the execution of this plan and works in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Trade Executive.

  • Ensures the coordination between all parties (both internal and external) to optimize the implementation of the (international) merchandising guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Permanent and Launch Merchandising

  • Follow-up on permanent updates.

  • Manage new product launch updates.

  • Support the implementation of POS material in the field.

  • Shipping coordination.

  • Develop planograms with international teams.

  • Develop an omni-retail approach.

In-store Design

  • Lead and coordinate in-store design projects with all stakeholders: international offices, retailers, shopfitters, sales team.

Budget Management

  • Draw up the budget and keep costs within the allocated budget.

  • Check monthly expenditures and explain variances vs budget.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Higher education degree (marketing oriented) and ideally demonstrates a first working experience. Preferably, this experience has been acquired in the cosmetics & beauty products and/or the luxury industry.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written), French is an asset.

  • Passion for visual merchandising.

  • Hands-on approach.

  • Pragmatic & flexible.
