The Position:

As a Video Editor-Producer, you will play a pivotal role within our dynamic video team, collaborating closely with both the Marketing and Product Departments to craft compelling videos for campaigns and case studies that showcase Arbinger Institute's content and solutions. With content and creative direction provided by our Senior Creative Producer, you will bring these narratives to life through skillful editing and storytelling. This role is integral to our creative process, emphasizing the expertise in video editing to produce captivating content that resonates with our audience and enhances our brand presence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular self-assessments using Arbinger's 3A+ assessment tool to gauge and enhance individual performance impact.
  • Edit film using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Suite, applying effects and transitions.
  • Guide ideas from pre- to post-production, including storyboarding and script review.
  • Manage projects by scheduling tasks, coordinating with team members, and monitoring progress.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their vision and incorporate feedback.
  • Maintain organized project files and footage for easy access and version control.
  • Stay updated on technology and industry developments to enhance editing skills.
  • Continuously assess the impact of edited videos through analytics and feedback.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance audience engagement.
  • Regularly evaluate project success and apply lessons learned to future endeavors.
  • Stay up to date with new software features and workflows to improve efficiency and creativity.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

*Required Capabilities:  *

  • Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Asana, Smartsheets, Jira) to organize tasks and ensure project efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to maintain structured project files and footage.
  • Possess knowledge of the filming process, including camera and lighting setup, to facilitate smoother collaboration with production te ams.
  • Proficiency in color correction and grading techniques to enhance visual quality and consistency.
  • Expertise in audio editing and mixing to deliver a balanced and immersiv audio experience.
  • Display problem-solving skills and initiative to address technical and creative challenges during editing.
  • Proven ability to guide talent effectively and create a comfortable environment to foster authentic performances.
  • Accomplished at soliciting and providing constructive feedback to enhance the quality of work and promote continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines.

Preferred Capabilities:

  • Ability to showcase an advanced skillset in creating dynamic motion graphics and animating graphics, effectively elevating the messaging and visual impact of the videos.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in color correction and sound editing techniques to ensure the highest quality of visual and auditory elements in the final product.
  • Showcase expertise in natural lighting techniques to capture scenes authentically and create visually compelling compositions.
  • Display mastery in multicultural lighting setups to accurately represent diverse environments and subjects with sensitivity and precision.
  • Maintain an outgoing, engaging presence, that works well under pressure.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of recent video editing experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel up to 30% may be required.

Salary: Starting from $60,000/year
