JOB SUMMARY:
Contribute to timely shipments of high-quality products through back-end and box-build assembly processes, ensuring adherence to workmanship standards.
1st Shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
Verify incoming materials for accuracy and utilize FIFO (first in, first out) inventory system for storage.
Manually assemble assembly or box-build systems using specified tooling, torque drivers, and hardware, maintaining predetermined run rates.
Scan necessary components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bins, or Kanban locations.
Maintain certification and proficiency in Assembler I, Router, Press Fit, and RTV operations.
Maintain certification and proficiency in DF Pre-Kitting Assembly/Test, Hi-Pot Test, Bundle Kitting, and Pack-Out operations.
Pull and scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks or bin locations.
Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas.
Execute Purge process as required.
Ensure functionality of all production equipment through preventative maintenance measures.
Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned area consistently.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations associated with the position and as directed by supervisors.
Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
May undertake other assigned duties and responsibilities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to calculate the quantity of parts needed for preparation and usage at any given time.
Effective presentation skills to address groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Problem-solving skills to define issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficiency in operating personal computers with a Windows-based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills, including training and familiarity with Jabils software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence and comprehend visual aids.
Capability to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions with common sense understanding.
Aptitude to handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables.
Proficiency in reading and understanding simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
