The Operations Engineer 2 (level 2) is accountable to Technical Leadership and offers manufacturing proficiency to address challenging issues while consistently enhancing our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Assumes a leadership role in manufacturing, overseeing programming, processing, tooling, and collaborating with development engineering on new hardware.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

• Provides technical solutions.

• Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.

• Supports new capital equipment purchases and implementation with justification documentation.

• Creates cell layouts and process improvement initiatives.

• Uses basic Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processes.

• Uses basic concepts of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA)

and supports new product introduction.

• Represents the company with our customers.

Education or Formal Training:

• Bachelor's degree in technical/science or international equivalent required

• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

• Professional certifications preferred (i.e. AWS, SME, CWE, CWI, etc.)

  • 2 years CNC programming

  • CAD, Inspection and Machinist experience

Shift Monday - Friday. Pay is $40.00 per hour.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
