Production Control Associate ensures accuracy, productivity, and quality of all inbound and outbound material at our facility. Supports a service-oriented warehouse environment for internal and external customers. Upholds accurate inventory levels through diligent inventory management, reconciliation, and process improvement. Maintains all department metrics and key performance indicators. Leads by example and plays an active role in selecting, training and retaining a team of superior performers. Supports the production team with materials and additional resources, as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Production, inventory or warehouse employees.

Complete Production Dispositions

Manage floor inventory, Production Change over and line clearing for returns.

Facilitate production disruption resolution by working with the different functional groups to maintain a quick resolution response.

Perform inventory cycle counts and yearend inventory audits.

Generate Production Schedules

Print production configuration packets for daily production

Collect configuration packets from press after job completion including wos, process sheets and other current data sheets and provide to planner.

Proper and accurate reporting of inventory via the ERP system

Upholds accurate inventory levels through diligent inventory count management, reconciliation, and process improvement.

Supports the production team with materials and additional resources, as needed.

Champions all cleanliness initiatives within the Warehouse Department, ensures cleaning schedules are performed and maintained.

Analyzes daily production usage for product and supplies to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.

Communicates with employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.

Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.

Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.

Help with the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.

Fosters positive working relationships and good communication both with the production department and inter-departmentally.
