Job Purpose and Impact
The Manager, Professional Skills Development will develop and curate learning experiences to increase skill and performance levels for the most strategic Digital and Data skills that are common across all business groups globally.
In this role, you will understand highly complex business needs, build internal stakeholder commitment, develop deployment roadmaps and partner collaboratively to develop, launch and govern learning experiences and their impact.
You will play a key part in ensuring employees across the company have access to relevant and effective learning opportunities that contribute to the professional growth and the success of the organization.
Your focus will be primarily on the most strategic digital skills for the company, as well as support for key skill development linked to Cargill’s strategy depending on the portfolio priorities in the team.
You will be part of the professional skills development team in Global Learning and Development, part of the Talent and Development Center of Expertise.
Key Accountabilities
Leverage a high level perspective to define goals and create a vision for learning experiences.
Own the learning product strategy and solution from inception to delivery and identify business value and end user outcomes including key performance indicators and financial return on investment as applicable to ensure effectiveness.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives utilizing key performance indicators to show progress.
Create highly complex communication materials and roadmaps that outline the vision and direction for the product offering over time to be used as a strategic guide for stakeholders to reference and as a plan for execution.
Create the learning product backlog and prioritize items based on the overall strategy and business objectives and map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of work.
Partner within the team for design, technology, calendaring, overall value proposition, governance and other relevant items.
Other duties as assigned
Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Atleast 14 years of experience in an L&D role with large MNC corporates
Strong exposure to working with teams across multiple regions
Strong experience in partnering the Digital, Data and Technology function will be an added advantage
Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders
Should be Tech savvy with a strong interest in the impact of technology advancement on the world of work
Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
Product owner or equivalent certification
Professional certification in learning and development
