Logitech System Quality Assurance Engineer in Hsinchu, Taiwan

The Team and Role:

The Senior System Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for test and validation of consumer products designed by the Logitech Audio Group. Our products are wired and wireless audio products. You will define consumer use cases, target performance metrics, generate test plans, and perform hands-on testing of these products. You will oversee and manage test results of outsourcing testing labs. You will perform testing on the firmware and software of advanced audio products. You leverage your experience and knowledge to be

influential and responsible for ensuring the best possible user experience.

• Perform product functional testing with the focus on product Firmware

• Coordinate communications between Firmware, Software, Hardware, Marketing and designers for resolving bugs.

• Develop and execute product functional test plans.

• Perform ongoing interoperability tests with fast paced computers and mobile devices

• Perform hands on tests and qualification prior to mass production

• Closely work with product managers and designers to define product user interface and experience

• Represent the “voice of customer” in product development processes

• Evaluate, comment, and influence the best possible “user experience” for products

• Manage the outsourced tests at external labs.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Firmware and software testing experience of consumer electronics products.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

• Ability to perform “hands-on” product testing and failure analysis.

• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Thorough knowledge of quality systems and reliability measures.

• Operates well within a team and independent environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Audio product testing experience

• Wireless testing experience

• Project Management skills

• Hardware and software testing experience

Education:

• An educational degree (Bachelors) in an engineering field with over 5 years working experience.
