GE Vernova is undertaking an exciting mission to electrify and decarbonize the world and is investing to build the Scrum teams necessary to succeed. We have an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master with advanced Agile experience to join the team and help drive our Engineering teams using a consistent Scrum framework. This role will need to collaborate with the Product Management and Engineering teams to drive successful Scrum teams.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with the Product Engineering Management teams and all the stakeholders.

• Managing/running multiple scrums and projects.

• Responsible for all product/project timelines, and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner as per the defined scope and budget.

• Creating and implementing best Agile and Scrum practices policies, standards, and frameworks.

• Running Scrum cadences and working with multiples teams across the globe.

• Performing all the Sprint Rituals

• Ensuring coordination between teams for timely delivery.

• Estimating the project and delivery timelines.

• Identifying, monitoring, and processing tasks through discussion with teams including raising red flags, reporting tasks etc.

• Detecting any blockers and delay in delivery and taking the required actions.

• Conducting regular meetings with team leaders and follow up on project status.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced start up like culture where features are rapidly developed and tested, revised, and experimented.

• Streamlining the team’s overall performance and delivery.

• Mentoring, technical coaching and nurturing team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) or a related majors, and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• 5+ years of progressive career in IT.

• Experience in Azure DevOps is a huge plus.

• Excellent Project Management skills in a Software Development environment.

• Should have ability to influence without authority.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have experience of running Sprints and tracking throughput through tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Rally, Confluence.

• Must be a Certified Scrum Master
