Position Summary: The Cardiopulmonary rehab Registered nurse provides direct patient care in the cardiopulmonary rehab department. Monitor patients during exercise for the detection of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities. Maintains the preventative and restorative health needs for the patients. Provide education to the patient as related to their individual needs. Communicates with the physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition including laboratory tests, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient's condition and response to treatment. Participates in performance improvement activities.Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maine. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. ACLS, Minimum of one (1) year work experience preferred.Skills:Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of Telemetry reading.
