Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency Facilities Operations Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota
*SUMMARY*
We are currently seeking aFacilities Operations Managerto join our team. The Facilities Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the facilities operations team and all assigned facilities and facilities-related systems. Responsible for day-to-day operations including management and supervision of internal and contracted vendor staff. Coordinates and manages all compliance events and regulatory requirements for Facilities Management Department.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
Facilities Operations
- Provides operation oversight and leadership to Facilities Management Department
- Lead, direct and manage the oversight of the facilities team
- Coordinates and manages staff schedules and productive time
- Coordinates and manages staff performance reviews, coaching, training, and engagement
- Conducts staff recruitment interviewing, hiring, and onboarding activities
- Coordinates and manages preventative and corrective maintenance repairs of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure within the healthcare system
- Coordinates and manages internal and contracted regulatory-required preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Coordinates and manage HHS Facilities Management policies
- Budgetary recommendations (Operational and Capital)
- Administer, develop, revise, and monitor the work order program (Archibus System)
- Ensure proper documentation or Joint Commission/CMS and all other AJH compliance records
- Understanding of Environment of Care and NFPA codes
- Perform other duties as assigned

*Construction and Mechanical Projects *
- Manage and provide technical services and coordinate construction projects for new facilities and/or remodeling and repair existing facilities
- Prepare project budgets and cost estimates
- Evaluate construction-related bids and make recommendations for contract award
- Manage project funding, consultant’s statements for services, certificates of payment, change orders and other contract sums
- Prepare summaries of project status, coordinate final completion and assists in development and execution of punch list items and final inspection
- Incorporate sustainable guidelines throughout project development
- Manage and provide technical services on mechanical/electrical engineering projects and/or related services. Including Hennepin County Asset Preservation Projects
- Administer consultant contracts and monitor consultant performance as related to project development and implementation
- Prepare project budget and cost estimates
- Coordinate selection and purchase of equipment, delivery and installation
- Lead HHS’s intentions to build a diverse team, internally and through the support of our contractors and design teams. Pursue and lead our effort to build successful equitable relationships with diverse ESBE’s
- Manage ILSM’s and partner with Infection Prevention on ICRA’s
*Environmental *
- Manage and provide technical (environmental) services on construction and remodeling contracts, including budget and federal and state reporting
- Develop and manage the Operations and Maintenance programs for asbestos, mold, lead and any other health & safety issues required by the state and federal mandates
- Oversee abatement or other environmental contracts and review reports
- Evaluate environmental service-related bids and make recommendations on contract awards
- Prepare and manage environmental project cost estimates
- Maintain all state licensing requirements for Asbestos Management Planner, Asbestos Project Designer, Asbestos Inspector, and Abatement Supervisor
- Oversee the underground storage tank and above ground storage tank program licensing and permitting
- Manage all aspects of environmental and health & safety requirement for the department
*QUALIFICATIONS*
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an academic area related to (Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, and Facilities Project Management)
- Five years' approved experience related to the area of specialty
