Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be doing:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Investigator to join our team within hospital. The ideal candidate will have extensive exposure to investigations, particularly in a union environment, and possess a solid understanding of labor relations within a 24-hour industry setting, preferably in the healthcare/medical industry.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee misconduct, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, theft, fraud, and policy violations, within a hospital or 24/7 operational environment.

  • Gather and analyze evidence through interviews, document reviews, surveillance, and other investigative techniques to determine the validity of claims and the extent of any violations.

  • Prepare detailed investigative reports documenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations for disciplinary action or corrective measures, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, union agreements, and company policies.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HR, legal counsel, and management, to provide guidance on investigation protocols, train staff on investigative procedures, and support efforts to maintain a fair and respectful workplace environment.

Here's what you'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in employee investigation roles within a hospital or 24/7 operational environment.

  • Strong understanding of labor relations, union agreements, and applicable employment laws and regulations.
