Ferguson is seeking an Installation Manager - Appliances to join our operations team! The candidate can work at our Nampa, ID location.

General areas of responsibility include providing leadership for the organization's customer-facing associates and branch functions. This includes providing competent installation capacity to support the sales of finished goods and ensuring that existing program tools and processes are consistently implemented to maintain program integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Reports: Installation Technicians

  • Reports directly to the District Installation Manager - Northwest District 4

  • Support outside sales and showroom consultants to help secure new business

  • Work across multiple KOB’s – appliances, cabinets, plumbing, and lighting

  • Manages vendor relations regarding pricing and products

  • Lead appliance install tech’s and delivery

  • Leads outside contractors if project activities are sub-contracted

  • Consult with associates and customers at job sites

  • Perform quality checks on the installation work to ensure accurate installation practices are used

  • Verify that all paperwork and documentation related to the installation is completed and accurate

  • Manage installation related issues and provide solutions

  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet timelines

  • Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel

  • Work with branch trainer and manager(s) to ensure delivery and install processes are maintained

  • Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team

  • Conduct regular associate meetings

  • Represent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years prior management leadership experience preferred

  • 2+ years experience preferred with duties in routing, scheduling, or appliance installation or 2+ years installing appliances as a lead.

  • Demonstrated experience using standard hand tools, electric tools and motorized and/or manual lifting devices

  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices

  • Excellent customer service skills a must

  • Attention to detail, shown integrity and professionalism

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

Pay Range:

$4,916.70 - $10,711.80

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
