We are looking for Demand Planning Professional

You’ll make a difference by

  • Monitor SAP R/3 generated Purchase Requisitions (PRs)

  • Preparation and co-ordination for release of purchase orders

  • Follow-up with vendors for timely deliveries

  • Co-ordination with custom for clearance

  • Reschedule delivery dates w.r.t. schedule requirement & Inventory level.

  • Co-ordinate with HO-Finance for transit damage Insurance cases

  • Monitor & reduce Idle time on Shop floor on account of material non-availability.

  • Co-ordination with Production Cell’s Logistics, Dispatch, Vendor for sub-contracted items

  • Co-ordination with Manufacturing & Vendors for disposal of Quality problems raised,

  • Co-ordination with Vendor development & Quality inspection for Vendor Quality related issues

  • Monitor & improve Vendor Delivery reliability.

  • Updating of Item Procurement lead-time in SAP in MRP

  • Optimize number of Purchase Orders through consolidation of Purchase Requisitions in consideration of lead-times

  • Co-ordination with Product development for Amendments

  • Implementation of Sourcing Models (Consignment Stock, Contract Warehouse, KANBAN) to improve Material Availability & Inventories.

  • Implementation of Lean mfg concept

Desired Skills:

  • Having the SAP knowledge with 4-5 years of experience. Should have the experience working in MM & PP modules.

  • Will be able to make the good understanding and communication with external vendors/ supplier and good co-ordination with internal departments.

  • Should be agile and flexible to work based on urgencies and demands as per customer requirements.

  • Good Communication and Presentation Skills

  • You are capable of analysis and learning and always work Result, Team, and Quality Oriented
