What You Will Do:

We are currently seeking a candidate to be part of our dynamic Retail Design & Animation, Operations (RDO) team. This position requires development and project management of Lancôme merchandising units & systems and giftsets. The scope includes Department Stores, Sephora and Ulta, promotional package development, and project management activities to assure timely and cost-effective projects.

  • Creation and Execution of Launch Timelines

  • Anticipation, Assessment, & Management of Risks related to Timing, Quality, and Cost

  • Coordinate & communicate with Purchasing/Sourcing, Creative, Marketing, Sales Admin, Inventory Management, Promo Ops, Finance, and outside vendors

  • Partner with RDO Purchasing & Indirect sourcing to ensure that all L’Oreal USA Purchasing and ethical guidelines are followed

  • Guide marketing in new product brief creation and stay within brand project thresholds

  • Manage and track all RDO development KPIs for assigned brands Cost Control and Financial Approval Management on all projects

  • Strong focus on Sustainability Initiatives

  • Cooperate with our counterparts from the global RDO team on convergence initiatives

  • Optimize Promotional Process, Tools, and Procedures

  • Manage Aesthetic and Color Approvals with Creative and/or Marketing stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within the product development and sustainability discipline

  • Find ways to reduce costs by Buying Less, Better and Smart while partnering with Purchasing; to meet sustainability goals by applying the 3Rs (Reduce/Reuse/Recycle) and eco-design guidelines.

  • Be an active participant on various divisional and/or corporate initiatives

  • Keep the Division and Supply Chain updated on the status of all projects

  • Attend and participate in all CPR, CRM and TPA meetings

  • Help resolving all issues while facilitating the progress of projects

    What We Are Looking For:

    Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing or project management work/quality experience required, preferably in cosmetics, consumer goods or related field

  • Bachelor’s Degree required/, Business, Supply Chain, Project Management related degrees are preferred.

  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to handle various situations, multiple priorities, changing business needs as well as the diverse personalities within L’Oreal and the supplier community

  • Travel to vendors and plants is required (<20%)

  • Excellent in MS Office Software, and capable of building presentations

  • Team oriented and able to create strong relationships with all cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to escalate issues to management in a timely manner

  • Preferred experience managing budgets and being involved with cost savings initiatives and value analysis projects

  • High degree of financial and analytical aptitude a must

  • Salary Range : $119,000 - $170,00 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
