What’s the role?

We're seeking an experienced and exceptionally organised Events Executive to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring all event programs excite and engage audiences, while creating memorable experiences that align with News Corp Australia’s strategy.

As the Events Executive, you will assist the Senior Event Manager in the production and seamless delivery of trade marketing and company events ranging from reward programs, corporate retreats, conferences, award nights and more.

This role is situated within News Corp's dynamic Events and Experiences team. Our experiential programs lie at the core of the brands we represent, forging emotional and memorable connections with our consumers. Key responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Event Manager on all end-to-end production requirements and seamless activation of virtual and in-person events

  • Assist in all end to end customer planning and touchpoints to ensure alignment to event strategies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different divisions including C-Suite Executives, Sales and Creative

  • Analyse and understand the event market from suppliers to brand competitors

  • Seek out examples of ‘best practice globally’ in sponsorship, event executions, activations and customer engagement

  • Support the Events & Experiences team to deliver the FY24-FY25 events roadmap to achieve the intended campaign goals for each project or masthead

  • Contribute to the post campaign analysis and reporting, present & implement revised operational learnings after each event

  • Contribute to a culture that is innovative, customer focused and reflects the News Corp and team values

Who are you?

  • 2+ years experience as an event coordinator or planner

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organisation skills

  • Onsite event experience

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • Flexibility to travel for event delivery

  • Proactive attitude and is up for any challenge or task

  • Excellent communicator

  • Skilled in GSuite (ideal)
