Amazon Senior Partner Sales Manager, AGS EMEA Non-Coverage Partner Success in Oslo, Norway

As Senior Partner Sales Manager in Norway, you will deliver on our strategy to work with partners to accelerate adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure web services. Extensive experience working for, or with Global Systems Integrators, Managed Services Providers, Professional Services companies and Management Consulting firms is a must.

The ideal candidate has the ability to build effective, multi-level relationships (including C-level) and creates preference for AWS. You will collaborate with partners to serve and create value for customers within the Enterprise segment. You will manage interactions with partners on joint customer opportunities leveraging the benefits of the AWS Programs.

As Senior Partner Sales Manager, you enjoy teamwork and building bridges. In addition to your interaction with AWS partners, you will collaborate closely with AWS sales teams, partner development, marketing and solution architects. You will build and execute the go-to-market strategy for customers in your territory.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build a business development plan for the ISV & DNB target markets in line with the AWS strategic direction.

  • Coordinate and drive execution of the business plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, legal, support, etc.).

  • Manage and drive joint engagements between consulting partners, Account Management and Partner Development team.

  • Work with AWS account teams in a highly collaborative operating model to develop pipeline.

  • Collaborate with partner bid desk team to support partners on solution support & pricing constructs.

  • Liaise with the Partner’s field sales organization, channels and end customers to help create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.

  • Work closely with the partner’s customer base to ensure they are successful using AWS, making sure they have the resources required.

  • Ensure that AWS is the partner’s preferred cloud computing platform across all product lines.

  • Understand the technical requirements of partner and work closely with the internal development team to help guide the direction of product offerings.

  • Prepare and lead business reviews to the senior management team.

  • Provide support during contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong experience in technology related (partner-) sales experience

  • Experience working with Consulting Companies and/or technology vendors

  • Successful track record to achieving and exceeding quota and key performance metrics

  • Proven ability to deliver results amid ambiguity and change

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for or with ISV's

  • Existing network with GSI, SI, VAR, ISV community in Norway

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial “builder” mentality
