Use your technical expertise to make driving safer, easier and better for our customers. The Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team develops state-of-the-art software and algorithms to deliver best-in-class features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and 360 camera systems. ADAS also developed Ford's industry-first Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, securing over 60 patents in the process. The team is responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of these features into production on all Ford vehicle lines.

In this position…

We are seeking a program manager who can proactively drive decisions trading off time, budget, and scope on complex robotics systems to deliver Ford’s next generation L2+ Autonomous vehicles.

What you’ll do…

  • Understand the big picture and what is important for Ford’s next generation autonomous vehicles, and use that to help the engineering team prioritize their work

  • Build tangible, unambiguous objectives for highly technical engineering teams to work towards

  • Distill the story of the technical team’s work (3mo long projects of 20 engineers) into digestible formats for you, your management team, and your leadership team to make decisions

You’ll have…

  • Minimum bachelors in a STEM field or 5+ years of program management experience

  • A demonstrated history of effectively communicating with engineering managers on technical topics

  • A demonstrated ability to drive decisions

  • A demonstrated ability to motivate teams

This position is a salary grade 8.
