Certified Sterile Processing Technologist –THCDS – Fulltime Evenings

Career Advancement opportunity! Ready for your next career step? We are looking for a Sterile Processing Technologist for the OR at Texas Health Center Diagnostics & Surgery. Is that you?

Work Location : Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery is located at 6020 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

Schedule: Fulltime Evenings for 40 hrs./ week. 2:30pm - 11:00pm with weekend and holiday rotating on-call requirements.

Operating Room (OR) at THCDS Highlights:

Here's What You Need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  • One year experience in Sterile Processing Preferred

  • CRCST--Certified Registered Central Service Technician--Required upon hire OR

  • CSPDT--Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician--Required upon hire OR

  • CBSPD--Certified Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution--Upon hire required

What You Will Do:

  • Maintenance of surgical instruments

  • Performs Scanning of instrument trays for location and creation off count sheet/label

  • Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays

  • Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray
