Digital Product Analyst - Stores

The Digital Product Analyst – Commerce and Engagement-Stores are focused on Direct to Consumer In-store business and system capabilities across multiple regions. This role will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers for helping create and prioritize the list of backlog items based on the overall roadmap and business objectives. You will be responsible for documenting user stories, creating functional specification documents, mapping out feature and project dependencies to assist the development teams with the sequence of development, continued assistance required to complete each stage of the development process, and ensuring the final product meets CSC’s strategic goals.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Works closely with the Product Manager and development teams to execute the product vision and roadmap for Commerce and Engagement – Stores

  • Plays a key role throughout the development of the product including planning, refinement, documenting specifications, review, and sprint commitments

  • Works with product owners, product managers, and internal stakeholders to track, analyze, and manage roadmap and backlog

  • Translates stakeholder needs into well-written user stories, functional specifications, and mapping documents which allow the development team to deliver the product

  • Identifies feature dependencies, assists in solving problems, gathers requirements, and works closely with development partners to ensure deliverables are met

  • Creates acceptance criteria and executes acceptance tests under guidance from the Stores product owner/Product Manager

  • Works with technical partners to deliver a user-friendly experience

  • Acts as a change agent to drive innovation and digital transformation

YOU HAVE

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Product analyst including soliciting, writing business requirements, user stories, functional specification documents, and managing a product backlog

  • General knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management processes

  • Previous experience with Direct To Consumer Retail and Store Operations

  • Experience

  • Participated in at least 1 retail ERP or Point Of Sale system implementation

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 POS or other Point of Sale systems such as Oracle Xstore, Aptos is highly desirable

  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle
