As a Warehouse Supervisor you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a specific department of the distribution center.Your role encompasses being a servant leader who establishes a strong safety culture, solid interpersonal relationships, tactical thought process, and exceptional communication. You will lead your team to be agile to urgently deliver on consumer demand for speed to market, relentless execution through deliberate operational planning, inspiring your team of talent to achieve the impossible, and collaborative relationship building.Through your ability to relentlessly execute, your team will have a clear understanding of related goals and objectives for department and building specific KPI’s, how to proactively anticipate and avoid production delays, actively problem solve and make data driven decisions, and demonstrate mutual respect and accountability with one another. Your ability to gain trust and credibility with your team will be displayed in your commitment to your leaders and their teams’ success by spending time on the production floor daily and enthusiastically engaging with each of them.

*Please note this is a Day shift. Typical hours are Monday- Friday from 5:50am to 2:20pm

Responsibilities :

  • Leading and developing a team of team members and associates
  • Motivating, recognizing, and positively engaging with their team daily to achieve productivity goals and objectives through a strong sense of urgency and speed
  • Building and executing production plans for your team by evaluating current and future workloads, productivity requirements, and partnership with building peers and managers to efficiently balance labor
  • Provide real time observations along with specific, constructive, and actionable feedback to ensure compliance with all safety programs, work instructions, performance expectations, and company policies
  • Exceptional resilience and adaptability in a constantly changing environment
  • You take full ownership of your teams’ results in safety, accuracy, SLA’s, and productivity
  • You are a self-driven self-starter who takes initiative and has a proven ability to deliver consistent results
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours as the business needs dictate including swing, night, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to access all areas and levels of the distribution center

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering or 4 years equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience supervising or managing others
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience with material handling and/or warehouse and distribution operations
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently and with discretion
  • Physical ability to use telephone, computer and keyboard equipment, move freely around the distribution center, stoop, sit, and crouch for extended periods of time
  • Ability to regularly carry up to 40+ pounds and push up to 80 pounds

Job Conditions :

Job may require hours that often exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week to complete priority projects. Exposure to Distribution Center machinery/equipment such as conveyor belts, forklifts and loading docks.
