We look for a Regional Account Manager (Biosciences Division)

Switzerland, remote/field base

As an Regional Account Manager you play a vital role in driving sales within our Life sciences research consumables and instruments. You will be responsible for applying various communication channels, including telephone, email, Internet, and other technology, to engage customers within a defined territory. Your primary objective will be to establish and maintain effective customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure market penetration and profitability in alignment with sales and profit forecasts.

Your responsibilities:

  • Sale of life sciences research consumables and instruments

  • Maintain and develop customer relationship on short and long term

  • Achieve sales targets set, both quarterly and annually

  • Go for all existing and develop new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or achieve plan

  • Focus on the strategic development of key accounts by implementing and updating account planning (cross-functions)

Your qualifications:

  • M.A./M.Sc., preferred bachelor’s degree in biology.

  • Experience in sales in the Life Sciences Market

  • General knowledge of assigned product portfolio and/or customer segment required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English additionally French and Italian would be a phenomenal advantage

  • Analytical and business planning skills.

  • Strong capabilities to interface successfully with all customer types.

  • Ability to successfully contribute to dedicated team.

  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to evolving business environment

  • Digital literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or like programs required

  • Valid driving license
