Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collecting, validating, maintaining, and updating relevant information about markets and competitors and relevant information about market sizing.

• Supply market share data, perspectives on market trends and competitor activities, market forecasts, and pricing information.

• Provide analyses to support strategic thinking and operational decision making.

• Maintaining dashboards to support business processes and having knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

• Proposing different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.

• Prioritizing information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Using multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

• Working as an individual contributor and this job level requires strong interpersonal skills. May lead small projects.

• Explaining information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in marketing or analytics or closely related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing & Market Intelligence.

• Worked in medical or regulated industry minimum of two years.

• Demonstrated strong data management skills with large data sets.

• Must have advanced experience in Excel and analytical packages (proficient in formulas, macros, VLOOKUP, Index, Match, pivot tables etc).

• Ability to design and develop dashboards on Power BI and Spotfire. This involves designing the data model and developing visualizations that provide actionable insights.

• Demonstrated PowerPoint presentation automation skills.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in forecasting, statistical methods, etc.

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with global teams.

• Must be willing to work flexible hours in order to accommodate frequent work during U.S. morning hours.

Desired Characteristics

• 3 or more years in regulated or medical field.

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

• Proficient in Business Analytics. Highly skilled in MS Excel, Salesforce.com, Spotfire, Tableau and other software tools.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certifications.
