Per Diem Veterinary Technician – Veterinary Specialty Hospital, North County

At VSH - North County, our AAHA accredited hospital proudly serves the community by providing referral services in the specialties of cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, interventional radiology, surgery, oncology, surgical oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, internal medicine, as well as integrative medicine such as acupuncture. 

We are looking for a Per-Diem Veterinary Technician to pick up shifts in all departments!

About the role:

• Per Diem:  Provide additional coverage beyond our full-time staff, ensuring efficient patient care during high-demand periods. Availability expectations will be determined by departmental needs, encompassing various shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• This role presents growth opportunities within our emergency and specialty services, offering flexibility in selecting your preferred work hours.

  Compensation:

• Credentialed Technician (RVT) or equivalent experience range: $26—$32/hr.

• Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) range: $31—$40/hr.

  About you:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

• The ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast paced, fluid environment. 

• RVT or VTS is highly preferred.
