JOB SUMMARY As a Lead Product Validation Engineer in Jabil, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our server solutions. You will lead a team of skilled testing professionals, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and drive the testing process to guarantee the delivery of high-quality server products that meet and exceed customer expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Strategy and Planning

Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for enterprise server products, considering various use cases, system configurations, and customer requirements. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and architects to understand project goals, requirements, and technical specifications.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of technical focal, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's efficiency and growth. Assign tasks, set priorities, and manage the workload of the technical focal team to achieve project goals.

Test Design and Execution

Design, develop, and review test cases, scenarios, and scripts that cover functional, performance, scalability, and reliability aspects of enterprise server solutions. Execute tests manually and using automated testing tools, ensuring thorough coverage and early detection of defects.

Defect Management

Identify, report, and track defects using established defect tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.- Perform root cause analysis on defects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Test Automation

Drive the implementation of automated testing solutions to improve efficiency, repeatability, and coverage of tests for server products.

Test Environment Management

Collaborate with infrastructure teams to set up and maintain test environments that replicate real-world customer configurations.

Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for process improvement within the testing lifecycle and implement best practices to enhance the overall testing process and product quality.

Documentation

Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test strategies, test cases, test scripts, and etc…

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, to ensure alignment and timely delivery of high-quality server solutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience (12+ years) in BIOS/BMC/Software testing, with a focus on enterprise server products.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading successful testing teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise server hardware, software, and architecture.

  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
