SEAGATE TECHNOLOGY (NRM) Staff Program Manager, Site Security in Shakopee, Minnesota

About our group: The mission of the site security team is to support the physical security needs of the site, as well as support the overall mission of the Global Trust and Security team of Protecting the Worlds Data by Protecting Seagate through collaborations with various security functions. About the role - you will: The Site Security Program Manager will provide leadership in managing site security operation to ensure best-in-class customer service, operational effectiveness, SOP and Work Instruction creation, budget planning and implementation and supervision of the contract security team. About the role - you will: Ensure compliance with all Seagate policies and procedures Establishes working relationships with Site Management Teams, Facilities, EH&S, HR, Legal, etc. Work with Security management to ensure strategies to meet departmental goals are implemented Maintain working relationship with contract security provider to ensure contractor is meeting established SLAs Point of contact for equipment and systems service calls Manage ongoing preventative maintenance of systems Development and implement tracking strategies to ensure physical security and global systems teams are updated on all open service requests Prepare and present necessary information, training, reports, reviews, and audit results at scheduled meetings or as requested by Security management Participates in Seagate initiatives and programs, including core teams, conference calls, EHS/Facilities Project Meetings, or other site activities Serve as point of contact for after-hours incident response as it relates to site operations and security operations Establish relationships with local law enforcement Work with Global Investigations to support investigations on site Security representative for Facilities projects Work with Global systems and projects team to coordinate installation of new security equipment Arrange additional security as needed Assist in managing access for facilities contractors Security representative for site events Work with contractor provide to ensure staffing as needed Arrange additional staffing for HR needs (RIF, involuntary term, etc.) Support security operations for Seagate internal and external off-site events as needed As requested, or based on actionable intelligence, command a team of executive protection agents to mitigate risks Manage Executive Protection contracts Liias with senior leadership to understand needs About you: Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, customers, staff, and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations Strong planning, organizing and leadership skills Effective leader and member of project teams Strong oral and written communications skills Take initiative and achieve results Strong ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures Carry out multiple assignments concurrently Strong ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Ability to conduct oral presentations and group meetings Directing, motivating, training, and coaching in a positive and professional manner Your experience includes: Knowledge of corporate security operations, emergency and crisis management operations, incident investigation and business continuity management Management of corporate security teams Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures Strong ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance to achieve department and organizational goals Vendor management Strong understanding of a variety of Security Systems and Technology Strong budget and invoice management skills Analytic ability and drive, critical thinking skills, project management experience, nd exposure to tactical and operational security Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Office 365) Ability to synthesize business/financial data and develop recommendations Ability to work as needed to meet operational needs Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience Location: Our Shakopee campus is located 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis in a setting with a rural vibe - it overlooks a horse racing track and stables, yet it has great entertainment venues close by as well.
