As a Demand Planner , you will collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate the demand management process, generating a forecast for several Stryker product groups in the ANZ market.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of the baseline statistical demand forecast using inputs from the Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments while also providing value-add intelligence from global insights

  • Lead and facilitate the monthly demand meetings between the Sales division leaders, Finance and Supply Chain

  • Advise management on future inventory spend and communication of forecast into global Integrated Business Planning process

  • Conducts root cause analysis and corrective action planning to understand sales forecast accuracy and bias performance to support the feedback to Sales and Marketing teams

  • Provides the detailed analysis and reporting of forecast trends and accuracy to annual sales/operating plan to identify, communicate, and address gaps

  • Responsible for suggesting and maintaining ERP System Master Planning Families based on their relevance, as per the planning timetable

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in demand planning/management and financial planning

  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across the entire business and a talent for networking

  • Talent for translating technical information to all audiences and turning complex insights into a story

  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power BI etc.) and multiple ERP systems

  • Strong knowledge of the end to end supply chain and the impacts of the Demand signal
