Regional HR Manager

Being as ONE global HR organization, our aim is to bring efficient and value-added HR services and solutions to the business and our People. Asia LO (Liaison office) HR team is delegated to provide the full spectrum of HR services to the manufacturing and sourcing group presence in Asia: Mainland China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Bangladesh, HK, etc.

Being part of the Asia LO HR team, the Regional HR Manager is responsible to lead and manage the regional HR program/project to address the HR and business needs for internal operational effectiveness and improvement. It is also the POC (point of contact) with the corporate HR team for global HR program rolling out and implementation. Having the regional HR lens, this position is responsible to prepare the regional HR data analysis and developing enhancement initiatives at the regional level.

Apart from the above domain responsibility, this role will assist the Director, HR AP (sitting in the Hong Kong office) in leading the Southern China HR team.


Regional HR program management

  • Understand the business and country HR needs, create the regional HR initiatives and set up the plan and manage the implementation. The subjects will cover all spectrum of HR functions heavily involved in the LLD and talent development, employee engagement and retention, internal HR work guidelines, procedures, process, etc.

  • Review current HR system & policy, process and workflow, identify gaps, coordinate the site HRs’ input and formulate the improvement programs for HR operational efficiency. The objective is for process standardization, alignment, and effectiveness.

  • Create and maintain the regular HR reports for regional HRD’s review and strategic planning. It covers the data generated from Workday, data consolidation from sites, data analysis, identify the findings, and observation. HRD discussion for creating intervention of improvement at the regional level.

Corporate HR COE Interface

  • Being appointed as POC or key interface with the Corporate COE (Center of Excellence) for new program rolling out and monitor the regular HR annual activities eg. Budgeting, annual compensation cycle and performance review, etc.

  • Familiarize with corporate/regional HR programs and policy, providing the necessary support to address HR inquiries.

Regional HR collaboration

  • Building and maintaining the Regional HR data/information platform for internal HR communication. It is not only being the gatekeeper of maintaining the regional HR policy, guidance, work processes, reference tools, also including survey data up to date and etc.

Leading Southern China HR team

  • Effort spent on unifying the team resources, provide advice on team goal setting, coaching for team performance and development, giving timely guidance and support to the team to upgrade the HR quality service and support to the business.


  • Passionate for transformation and driver for excellence

  • Good listener with a strong sense of understanding

  • Positive and open mind to adopt new ideas and suggestions

  • Collaborative working style and enjoy the teamwork

  • Organized presenter, Data & fact-driven, logical, strategic /re-engineering mindset

  • Capable to interpret the complex situation and bring simple/effective solutions

  • Strong sense of ownership and work independently under a remote reporting line


  • Degree in a related discipline not restricted to Human Resources

  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience in multi-national organizations

  • Mixture of HR generalist background and expertise in HR program management

  • Experience in supporting the transformation/improvement project for organization and talent development

  • Proficient in English and confident in facilitating the regional group discussion

  • Project management, data, and analytical skill

  • Advantageous areas: Expertise in OD and LLD, Leadership role for South China HR
