Amazon Program Manager, Account Health Rating Product Team in Tempe, Arizona

This role requires working with business owners, product managers, and tech teams to define strategy, requirements, and responsibilities. This role will own resolving roadblocks for the team, providing program management, regular communication with leadership (including program updates), making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs within constraints.

The ideal candidate is a skilled influencer and problem solver, adept at navigating ambiguity. They excel in cross-team coordination, program management, executive communication and possess strong organizational skills. Additionally, they would be able to dive deeply into complex issues and understand the intricate details. They are skilled at conducting thorough analysis and research, enabling them to make well-informed decisions. Their dedication to delving into the nuances of a problem allows them to uncover valuable insights and identify practical solutions. This depth of understanding empowers them to address challenges and drive impactful outcomes effectively.

This position combines global strategic thinking with hands-on planning and oversight. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain product experience while leveraging their program management skills. This candidate will be part of a fast pacing and entrepreneurial team and be tasked with building trust over time by launching new processes and developing novel means to measure progress.

Key job responsibilities

Conduct investigations into the specific use cases of Sellers to determine if they are being penalized or advantaged by the current AHR logic.

Analyze enforcement variations before and after AHR dial-ups and collaborate with AHS to gain insights and shape product logic.

Write deep dive documents summarizing investigations and proposing solutions.

Manage projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency, including accessing and analyzing data and working extensively with external teams.

Support teams in responding to, investigating, and managing incidents and escalations around AHR.

Use high-level judgment to own our most complex enforcement decisions.

Identify gaps and risks in Amazon's current mechanisms and policies and recommend solutions to product and policy-owning teams.

Effectively prioritize opportunities in an ambiguous environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
