Job location: Turin area
Role Overview:
This role is expected to support the team through several lifing-related tasks on components designed and manufactured under Client's responsibility.
Provide all the needed support and/or documentations for Deterministic and Probabilistic Fracture Mechanics analysis;
Support to Design and Lifing process (analysis, reviews, etc..);
Perform Safe Life calculation and Life declaration activities;
Follow Mechanical investigations on NPI components submitted to test on Rigs;
Develop tools in support of the above described activities.
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Fluent English and Italian, both oral and written
Strong interpersonal skills and international team-working attitude
Experience on fatigue and fracture mechanics
Knowledge of fatigue crack growth simulations basis
Base knowledge of finite element modelling
Experience with Matlab
Knowledge of Ansys finite element software would be advantageous
