Your responsibilities:
Supporting full accounting cycle for several Luxembourg Holding entities
Supporting in quarter-end, and year-end closures
Supporting in preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss accounts and any other required accounting statements or financial reports
Maintaining, recording, and reconciling GL entries based on the relevant supporting documentation
Performing daily accounting activities like payments, mappings, keeping supporting trackers up to date
Additional tasks:
Researching open accounting issues and liaise with the relevant parties to solve them.
Answering questions regarding various accounting issues and reports
Supporting in tax returns preparation
Supporting in other statutory reports
Supporting audit process in providing reconciliations, supporting workings, documents
Performing other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills:
Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
Advanced accounting knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
advanced English command
Communicative, detail-oriented, conscientious person, who demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable reports to customers. Ability to clearly present information
Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Lux GAAP
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles, ability to conduct basic financial analysis
Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents
Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Experience with accounting and financial management software
French/German knowledge
