Robert Half Accounting Specialist - Part Time in White Bear Lake, Minnesota

Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our client's team based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The role involves handling administrative accounting work, primarily data entry in nature, to support the implementation of a new ERP system. This is a contract role that requires a commitment of three full days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records

• Perform administrative tasks including scanning, mailing, and data entry

• Assist with property tax returns, including pulling reports from the current ERP system and using Excel

• Match vendor bills to the receiver and handle opening of mail for Accounts Payable

• Assist with concession audit preparation by preparing Excel files

• Match vendor bill information to recurring payables in the current ERP system

• Research email bounce-backs by contacting the location through email or phone

• Make phone calls to locations to confirm bank information for ACH setup

• Utilize skills in Navision, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Handle any additional administrative accounting tasks as necessary.

Requirements • Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Navision software.

• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles.

• Ability to handle confidential information.

• Proactive attitude with a focus on process improvements.
